Olympian Mindset

Here’s a press release that I’ve just distributed with news of a new venture ……

A new website for this branch of Cariad is also under construction. Thanks go to Amanda from Truly Ace for once again designing a brilliant (IMHO) logo.

Olympian Mindset

Olympian Mindset sports & performance hypno-coaching comes to Wrexham and Chester

“Cariad Hypnotherapy, based in Wrexham, is now offering Olympian Mindset hypnotic coaching for sports and performance. Olympian Mindset is a fine-tuned combination of hypnotherapy and coaching that can help all sports players – whether professional or amateur – improve performance and boost their results. It also gives results for businesses and individuals looking for improved performance.

Olympian Mindset teaches participants techniques that can help to:

  • get into “the zone”
  • bring about peak performance at will
  • conquer performance anxiety
  • overcome mental blocks
  • build confidence and reinforce self-belief

Tracy Jones, lead hypnotherapist at Cariad Hypnotherapy, says: “We don’t often hear about how top athletes and sports players use hypnosis to help improve their performance. However, golf star Tiger Woods has spoken publicly about how hypnotherapy helped him reach the top of his sport. Mind coach Jay Brunza taught Tiger to use self-hypnosis and other mental tools to improve his game and to increase his focus and concentration. Fellow golfer Jack Nicklaus has said 90% of golfing is mental. It’s well known that self-belief is a major factor in sporting success. My Olympian Mindset course helps people harness their mental powers to boost their performance, using the same techniques employed by the world’s top sports stars. ”

Tracy is one of just a handful of people in the UK who have taken specialist “Empowerment of Elite Athletes” training with US hypnotherapist, Drake Eastburn. Drake is the official hypnotherapist for the Garmin Slipstream Cycling Team, which includes cyclists who have competed in the Tour de France and the Olympics.

The Olympian Mindset course is on offer at Cariad’s consulting rooms in Wrexham and Chester and can also be taught at the workplace or training ground by arrangement. Cariad can work with the whole team, not just the athletes/sports people but also support staff, managers, coaches, physiotherapists and even spouses and sponsors. Involving those on the periphery to develop the same positive attitude, confidence and desire to win strengthens the benefits for the players.

Cariad is offering full-day and half-day taster sessions of Olympian Mindset to all local sports teams and companies on-site. Each staff or team member will be booked in for an individual 30-minute taster of the powerful tools and techniques that can bring benefits to all areas of life, not just in the sports arena or at workplace. Participants can choose the theme of the session such as performance, confidence, or stress management. The content of each individual session is confidential. The taster session is a great opportunity to take an individual’s, a team’s or a company’s performance to the next level.”

  4. golf courses says:

Golf isn’t like other sports where you can take a player out if he’s having a bad day. You have to play the whole game. – (Quote by) Phil Blackmar

I like that :) , (well, what I could read of it). I am color blind (deuteranopia in my case). I mainly use Chrome browser (unsure if that matters), and much of your webpage is a bit of a strain on my eyes. I don’t wish to whinge, and I know it is my problem really, nonetheless it would be cool if you would take into account us color challenged types whilst doing your next site re-working.
